In the press meet, N.Shanker has revealed the line saying 'this movie is about a guy who enjoys the free life and how he fights hatred with his love. Everyone knows how actor Sunil is good at comedy and in this movie he once again proved that he is unbeatable. With comedy he also acted well with other emotional scenes in the film.'
Malayam film Producer & music director Gopi Sunder praised that this movie output is better than the original version. Ram Prasad's cinematography and Gopi Sunder music are added highlights to the movie.
Director also claimed that selection of characters is key role in film making process and he regrets by selecting Nitin for the film 'Ram' as it turned out to be disaster. While selecting Srihari for the movie 'Badrachalam' was the right choice and it resulted in success. And with such experiences director told that he took utmost care while selecting cast for the film '2 Countries'. The script requires Sunil like actor who can excel in bringing out comedy as well and that's the main reason for choosing Sunil is the reply of director while explaining the cast selection. N.Shanker also applauded actress Manisha Raj for her performance.
N.Shanker also said that he wants to continue his career as producer and wanted to produce this film in Hindi as well.
